I am officially a Certified Wedding Planner through the Association of Bridal Consultants!! I remember when we moved to North Carolina and I was having a hard time finding a job in the field I had worked in since the beginning of my career and I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I went through a time of self doubt and sadness. I was really discouraged.
Then my husband encouraged me to think about doing something that I really had a passion for. I had coordinated many events including weddings, church events and school events in my past and always enjoyed that work. When I took the time to think about what my heart would really take joy in, it was super easy to decide to become a professional wedding planner. Then the journey began!! I found a wedding planning course through Ashworth College and jumped on that opportunity (I wanted to do this right if I was going to start a business). After completing that course I became a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants where I learned about the different levels of planning.
I have put a lot of time and effort into my business but I wouldn't trade it for the world!! I absolutely love what I do and I'm so excited to be at this stage in my business. Thank you to everyone who has supported me in this journey!
